Armie Hammer is revealing how he ate part of an animal’s heart once on a hunting trip.
As a fervent admirer, I’ve been following the career of this actor who has been in the limelight for some controversial reasons. In his latest interview on The Louis Theroux Podcast, I was intrigued to learn about the claims that he once consumed raw animal heart. When asked directly if this was true, he reportedly mentioned consuming a warm animal heart.
Hammer clarified to Louis Theroux about a hunting custom: “Instead of consuming the entire heart, one custom is to take a single bite from it,” he said. “Your friends are encouraging you as you share this moment with them.
The actor from “Call Me by Your Name” went on to say, “It’s akin to a highly intense, almost excessive ritual for young men, when they embark on their first hunting trip. Most of the people I know who experienced this first hunt shared a similar experience.
He additionally made it clear that the custom had no intention behind it whatsoever for cannibalism or any form of sexual satisfaction.
In 2021, some explicit and disturbing text messages from Hammer to multiple women emerged, with contents that ranged from sexually suggestive fantasies to references to cannibalism. Later in the same year, a woman claimed he had raped her in 2017, and two other women accused him of emotional abuse. These accusations were further highlighted in the Discovery+ docuseries titled “House of Hammer“.
Previously, Hammer claimed that all his relationships were consensual BDSM encounters. However, he admitted to being emotionally abusive towards the women involved. In 2023, the Los Angeles County district attorney carried out an investigation but chose not to charge Hammer due to lack of substantial evidence.
As a gamer speaking about my perspective on the matter during an interview, I’d put it this way: “When discussing those 2021 allegations, I made it clear that being labeled as a cannibal is not something I identify with. To be a cannibal, you’ve got to consume human flesh – and that’s not on my menu.
Occasionally, when I’m in a relationship and we’re getting intimate, I enjoy being a bit of a rebel – stirring up some mischief, testing boundaries. It’s the thrill of challenging norms, ever so slightly, that makes it exciting for me. Was there ever a moment where I intended to physically harm or consume anyone? Absolutely not. It was more about the laughter and jests, perhaps fueled by moments of intoxication or playful banter as I typed those messages.
