In a recent chat with Gulf News, Rashmika Mandanna highly commended her “extraordinary co-actors” Allu Arjun, Ranbir Kapoor, and Vicky Kaushal. She pointed out that they all display outstanding acting skills and are genuinely kind individuals, which she believes is the foundation for everything.
She also added, “I feel a harmonious energy when working with Allu Arjun, making it comfortable for both of us. Ranbir and I share a dislike for pointless talk; instead, we concentrate on our characters without distractions. Vicky Kaushal impresses me every day on set; it’s unusual to find such talented individuals, and I am truly grateful to collaborate with them.
The leading actress anticipates the launch of her expansive historical period-drama, Chhaava, confidently asserts that its narrative has a wide-reaching, nationwide impact. She believes that the movie delves into Indian history, offering a tale that resonates with everyone – from the younger generation to their elders who are familiar with Sambhaji and Shivaji Maharaj. She notes that the film will captivate those who have been nurtured on these legends and tales of warriors.
Beyond this, the Sikandar actress additionally discussed her transition from the film Animal starring Ranbir Kapoor to the distinct project titled Chhaava. She emphasized her preference for being involved in compelling narratives and those that provoke thought, such as ‘What an amazing creation!’ It was her aspiration to participate in tales of this nature.
Rashmika shared that while she does star in some movies, she’s not egotistical. She can carry a film when needed, but she’s also content to play a role in someone else’s story. Some films focus on her character, but others are about contributing to the overall narrative, and she finds joy in both.
Under the guidance of director Laxman Utekar, the film Chhaava boasts performances from notable actors like Akshaye Khanna, Diana Penty, Divya Dutta, and others in pivotal roles. Anticipated to hit the screens on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2025.
