The announcement was made on the day after Away unveiled its capsule collection inspired by a show, and just before the much-awaited premiere of season three on February 16. From February 20, you can buy this range of clothing and accessories either online or in selected H&M stores worldwide.
Or even more casually:
One day after Away’s show-themed capsule drop and before the season three premiere on Feb 16, we’ve got some exciting news! Starting February 20, you can shop this collection of apparel and accessories online or in select H&M stores worldwide.
Bovaird shares with The Hollywood Reporter that the limited-edition line reflects the essence of costume design, his personal understanding of the characters, and draws inspiration from the turbulence and magic of Season 3. “We’ve designed a capsule collection for devoted fans of The White Lotus,” he explains, “either to wear on their own vacations or to blend with denim, creating an opportunity for them to embody their unique adventure in their hometown.
The capsule includes “essential White Lotus robe-like garments that the characters wear, seductive swimsuits for the characters seeking adventure, and versatile day-to-night outfits for after a sunlit beach day,” adds the costume designer of the HBO Original Series. This is further enhanced by long, flowing maxi dresses, frilly halter necks, woven hats, tote bags, sunglasses, jewelry, and slides. Bovaird characterizes this season’s costumes as more vibrant than ever before, with the intention of “embodying that spirit in this H&M collection.

During the course of developing the design, Bovaird frequently teamed up with H&M’s creative consultant, Ann-Sofie Johansson. As Johansson puts it to THR, “Collaborating on a collection is like tapping into a cultural trend.” The impact of TV and movies on fashion cannot be overlooked, and as a designer, one must remain inquisitive and open to the latest trends in popular culture. Additionally, this collaboration allowed us to produce a luxurious and whimsical resort collection.
Here’s a look at a sneak peek of our upcoming collaboration; you can get the entire collection starting February 20th on hm.com.
