Warhorse announces official modding support for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, turning Bohemia into a canvas for all manner of pervert ambitions

Deliverance 2. This is evident in my detailed 1,500-word essay expressing my affection for it, followed by a large 90% rating in our review. However, I have an idea that could make it even more enjoyable for me – if there was some way to modify Henry’s hands into feet in the game. Right now, I’m particularly intrigued by that concept.

By using more natural and easy-to-understand language, we can convey the same meaning while making the text more approachable for a wider audience.

What do you know? Warhorse must have heard my cry. The studio just came out and announced that official modding support is coming to the game. “Official modding support is coming to Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 on Steamworks,” says the studio. “Stay tuned for more details on how you’ll be able to create, tweak, and expand your medieval adventure.”

Let me elaborate a bit further. Warhorse Studios’ mention of support through Steamworks catches my attention. To me, this implies comprehensive backing for Steam Workshop, a feature that was absent from the first game. I wholeheartedly endorse this move. In fact, I am an ardent advocate for Steam Workshop and believe it should be more widely used: being able to subscribe to mods and then forget about them is a lifesaver, particularly for older games.

In addition to that, it seems likely that Warhorse Studios will release modding tools for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, similar to the ones they shared back in 2019. These were made available on Nexus Mods and included developer-used tools as well as raw game data like a “Database Dump.” While I might grasp these terms better without my university studies in history, I’d still find them quite useful for customizing the game.

I’d be surprised if Warhorse’s limited modding tools for the second game aren’t similarly extensive. If my Steamworks theory is correct, it will be wonderful to simply tick a box on the Henry Feethand mod and relax, knowing it will stay updated and automatically installed indefinitely. We’ll know for certain when Warhorse provides more details, but I really hope I’m right. In 1403, even a few modern conveniences are needed.
