It’s been about three years since the second season of HBO’s “Euphoria” aired, leaving viewers eagerly awaiting updates on the series. For a while, it seemed like we might never get a third season, but luckily, things are falling into place for an amazing new installment. With all the pieces coming together, there has been much speculation about how long “Euphoria” would continue. Fortunately, HBO has now given us a clear answer to this question. In a recent interview with Deadline, Francesca Orsi, head of HBO’s drama division, revealed that “Euphoria” Season 3 will likely be the last season of the hit show. Here are her exact words.
As a devoted fan, I’ve had my share of discussions about it. However, until the final curtain falls, nothing can truly be considered as ‘over.’ Yet, it’s been hinted that this could mark the conclusion.
The show is renowned for its intense, emotionally charged drama, dealing with sensitive topics such as domestic violence and substance abuse. Each character grapples with significant challenges, leading to compelling resolutions. Orsi recently speculated about how the series might conclude, particularly for characters like Rue, who audiences have been invested in since her drug addiction storyline started in 2019. Regrettably, the show will miss one cast member due to Angus Cloud’s untimely and sad demise in 2023, during the show’s break. It seems his narrative thread will be resolved in the upcoming season.
I believe you’ll find this season incredibly fulfilling as every character’s complete story arc is expertly presented.
Or alternatively,
This season should leave you extremely pleased because it delivers each character’s full tale beautifully.
The Cast Of ‘Euphoria’ Have Become Megastars
In the past three years since the last episode of Euphoria aired, quite a bit has transpired. Initially, some cast members such as Zendaya were widely recognized, but others have since achieved significant success in the entertainment world. Among these rising stars are Jacob Elordi and Sydney Sweeney, who have become prominent figures in the industry. They’ve been involved in numerous projects, with Sweeney appearing in films like Madame Web, hosting Saturday Night Live last year, and having several upcoming projects. Similarly, Elrodi also hosted an episode of SNL last year and has starred in critically acclaimed productions such as Priscilla and Saltburn, which garnered him multiple award nominations.
Even though Zendaya gained widespread fame through her Disney Channel days and playing MJ in the Tom Holland Spider-Man series, her career has seen an extraordinary growth during the extended break of Euphoria. Her film roles have evolved to more serious projects like Dune and Challengers, earning her Golden Globe nominations for both movies.
