Liam Neeson is set to bring out his comedic side and get a bit zany in the much-anticipated action comedy “The Naked Gun“, which marks the fourth installment of the beloved Leslie Nielsen series. In this new film, Neeson will portray the bumbling son of the late comedian, Frank Drebin Jr. While specific details about the plot are being kept secret, fans can look forward to the latest addition retaining the same hilarious spirit and gut-busting humor as its successful predecessors. The most recent release in the series was “Naked Gun 33+1/3: The Final Insult” back in 1994.

Akiva Shaffer, a writer, producer, and member of the comedy music group The Lonely Island took charge of directing the hilarious remake. Originally, the story for this interesting sequel was conceived by television powerhouse Seth McFarland. Alongside Liam Neeson in the new version of The Naked Gun, you’ll find Pamela Anderson, who previously starred in Baywatch and The Last Showgirl, taking on an unspecified role. Quinn must join forces with two of the facility’s employees to stop the lethal organism from escaping and effectively ending the world.

In the creation of the screenplay for “Cold Storage”, the acclaimed writer John Koepp, known for his work on films like “Jurassic Park”, “Spider-Man” (2002), and “War of the Worlds”, has also been involved. Joining him are talented actresses Georgina Campbell, Sosie Bacon, and Vanessa Redgrave. As filming for this chilling thriller started in March 2023, Koepp shared his enthusiasm for the project, stating that it offers a perfect blend of elements he enjoys: it’s scary, funny, thrilling, unexpected, and extremely entertaining.
