Anderson Cooper has established himself as a dependable and respected American broadcaster since he started in the industry. Many fans, including myself, looked forward to welcoming 2025 with him on New Year’s Eve, a testament to his enduring career. His journalistic skills have proven to be boundless, as demonstrated by his latest venture involving Kevin Hart and his height.
Anderson Cooper, a correspondent for 60 Minutes, discussed with Hart about balancing his stand-up career with owning an entertainment company among other ventures. Via the CBS new show’s Instagram, the interview stretched to off-beat questions, including the comedian’s height. The CBS journalist led into the inquiry by sharing other sources who have noted the Ride Along star’s measurements previously, saying:
GQ said you’re 5’5, the L.A. Times says you’re 5’4, and some other place said you were 5’2.
Regardless of varying accounts, Anderson Cooper, host of 360°, was candid, straightforward, and gracious when discussing the Central Intelligence actor. It’s reassuring to know that you can always rely on Cooper to delve into these contentious disagreements and clarify them for the audience.
During the less serious part of their conversation, the pair broke out in laughter over different articles. Then, Hart interjected, mentioning who had guessed his correct height and added an interesting note about how this can vary based on his footwear selection. He commented:
That spot is definitely not impressive, but GQ has nailed it this time… Standing at five feet and five inches tall, with a shoe on, such as a sneaker. If I were to wear a boot instead, I’d measure about five feet and six inches.
After settling the discussion, it’s now proper to express gratitude once more towards the seasoned journalist for providing such an entertaining response. As for Hart’s notes that change based on his footwear, they clarify the confusion surrounding mixed numbers. It appears, without shoes, The Times might have the official measurement if the entrepreneur is referring to himself.
Apart from Kevin Hart balancing stand-up comedy with business endeavors, he has a number of other upcoming projects in the pipeline. Notably, the Hart-Ice Cube franchise is currently working on “Ride Along 3” and is also developing a remake of “Planes, Trains and Automobiles” as well as “The Great Outdoors.” These films are not yet scheduled for release in 2025, but they may hit theaters sometime in 2026. It will be intriguing to see how these reboots progress and perform when they eventually make it to the big screen.
