EXCLUSIVE: Here’s how Varun Dhawan made it easy for JugJugg Jeeyo co-star Prajakta Koli during the shoot

In the midst of the pandemic, the movie “JugJugg Jeeyo,” directed by Raj Mehta and featuring stars like Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor, and Neetu Kapoor, was unveiled, providing relief to audiences seeking entertainment. Interestingly, it was also the first Bollywood film for Prajakta Koli. Lately, she has shared her work experiences on this project and expressed admiration for Varun Dhawan’s kindness in making her feel at ease during filming.

During an interview with TopMob, Prajakta Koli was presented a photo featuring the JugJugg Jeeyo team and asked to comment. She quickly reflected, “That was when we were departing for the shoot of Jug Jug Ji Ho in Chandigarh. I was incredibly anxious at that moment. Additionally, I was apprehensive because it was my first time traveling by a chartered plane, and I had no idea what that experience would be like.

I exclaimed, “Everything about this is overwhelming! It’s our first movie, a Dharma Production, and I’m traveling alongside stars like Anil Kapoor, Neetu Singh, Kiara, and Varun! Honestly, I was just so flustered and nervous.

Prajakta revealed that she had previously exchanged a few words with VD (Varun Dhawan) on Instagram and found him incredibly funny. She adores him and considers him one of the kindest individuals she’s met. Additionally, Varun Dhawan is very perceptive, making it easy to discuss various topics with him. He is also highly intelligent.

Speaking highly of the actor, Prajakta Koli added, “He is knowledgeable in many areas, making him quite impressive. He also possesses a fantastic sense of humor, something I appreciate. Moreover, he made the experience very comfortable for me. To add, Kiara was exceptionally sweet during our initial encounter. Eventually, I discovered that they are all genuinely warm individuals. Consequently, I had an enjoyable time.

Under the guidance of director Raj Mehta, the movie JugJugg Jeeyo was crafted at an estimated cost of 110 crore Indian rupees. This production was a collaborative effort between Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Viacom18 Studios, with Viacom18 additionally overseeing its distribution.

Right now, in terms of his career, Varun Dhawan is preparing for Border 2, a follow-up to the 1997 war drama Border. This new movie will feature Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty as well. The production is ongoing, with the action-filled film scheduled to be released in cinemas on January 23, 2026.
