This daring act, which was met with shock in the film, has since become iconic in pop culture, earning a place among the movie’s most memorable and shareable moments.

Spencer’s Post Takes a Bold Swipe at Elon Musk

In January 2025, Donald Trump unveiled plans for a new agency called the “Department of Government Efficiency,” headed by tech mogul Elon Musk, primarily tasked with enacting reforms in federal spending and deregulation. Since then, this department has reportedly withdrawn significant funds from numerous areas, such as education. However, if this department had a different name or Elon Musk wasn’t linked to it, the situation might not have caused much controversy.

However, considering the events unfolding since its creation, and with Musk at the helm (not to mention that it bears the name of a popular cryptocurrency, Dogecoin, which Musk stands to gain from if it thrives, Doge), it’s not astonishing that people question the group’s intentions. Moreover, as an un-elected private citizen who was not born in America, Musk’s influence over U.S. government affairs has raised eyebrows. Consequently, numerous lawsuits have been brought against DOGE, and protests are taking place nationwide, criticizing Trump and Musk for the loss of tens of thousands of jobs.

The White House denies these assertions, explaining that Elon Musk holds the position of a Senior Advisor but does not possess the power to make decisions.

As a Senior Advisor to the President, Mr. Musk holds no more power or influence than any of the other high-ranking advisors in the White House.

As a supporter, I find myself aligning with Spencer in her apprehension towards DOGE.
