Latest Update: Devin Booker has been sporting his first signature shoe, the Nike Book 1, since the end of 2023. Anticipation grows as we wait for the release of its successor. In the meantime, additional colorways of the shoe are set to be unveiled in 2025, including a pair that we previously saw over a year ago. We hinted at a Nike Air Max 95 “Neon”-inspired version of the Book 1, which is now rumored to hit stores this fall through platforms like Nike SNKRS and selected retailers, priced starting at $140 USD. Keep an eye out for official images of the sneaker and revisit our earlier analysis below for further information.

Devin Booker unveiled a fresh color design on Christmas Day for his initial signature shoe, the Nike Book 1. This recent version seems to take inspiration from the “Neon” colorway of the Nike Air Max 95, creating a touch of nostalgia on the basketball court for Book.

Booker debuted his first collaborative sneaker with Nike earlier this year. However, fans will need to hold off until Spring 2024 to get their hands on his new shoe. Interestingly, Booker himself has already been sporting his signature shoe – it’s not available for purchase just yet. At the tender age of 27, Booker is in his eighth year in the league and has proven himself as a three-time All-Star. On occasion, he’s also received the All-NBA honors.

In his game against the Dallas Mavericks, Booker unveiled his “Neon” themed Book 1s which appear to be a homage to the iconic Air Max 95 sneaker from 1995. This shoe model holds significant value for Booker as he wore it during his youth and it is his father’s preferred footwear. The Air Max-inspired shoe boasts a quilted textile with nubuck overlays, covering the mid-foot, vamp, quarter, collar, and tongue in a cool grey accent. The color coordination includes a grey inner lining and laces, black on the mudguard and midsole, while neon colors the Swooshes, tongue tab, and heel on the translucent outsole.

I’m really intrigued by the latest Nike Air Max 95 “Neon” version I saw earlier. I can’t tell if this vibrant color scheme is an exclusive PE (Player Exclusive) or if it’s going to hit the shelves at some point. Fingers crossed it becomes available for us fans!
