From the moment it premiered for Peacock subscribers, I’ve been utterly captivated by the American adaptation of The Traitors. This reality show is arguably one of the best on television right now, and Season 3 has been filled with memorable moments and delightful surprises. However, while many have been critical of the questionable strategies employed by players like Danielle, there’s one competitor whose performance I find increasingly frustrating: Dolores Catania.
Instead of some people trying to figure out when to catch “The Traitors” Season 3, I, being an avid fan, am already tuning in as soon as each episode drops. As a connoisseur of Bravo and shows like “Survivor” and “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” I eagerly watch the cast dynamics unfold in Season 3 of “The Traitors.” Unfortunately, the last Housewife standing has wasted her vote for Tom Sandoval three times at the Round Table now. Come on, Dolores, you need to reconsider your votes!
As a passionate movie buff, I’ve been keeping a close eye on Tom Sandoval’s antics in The Traitors. He’s shown flashes of genius, like when he successfully voted out Boston Rob, but mostly, he’s been slinging baseless accusations at Dolo. I must admit, I relished the moment when she masterfully called him out during the Round Table meeting. However, it leaves me puzzled as to why she has consistently chosen to side with the Vanderpump villain for three consecutive weeks. It’s hard to comprehend, especially since she seems oblivious or indifferent to the fact that she’s been skipping over the two most popular choices during those weeks.
Indeed, it seems Sandoval isn’t faring well in his strategic gameplay. Although he successfully orchestrated Boston Rob’s elimination, he also wasted votes on Dolores unnecessarily during the other two tribal councils. As the group shrinks, those seemingly careless moves significantly impact who gets sent home. On the other hand, I must admit, I didn’t anticipate Tom to be such a strategic thinker (given his inflated self-perception).
Dolores is a beloved character on “The Real Housewives of New Jersey”, and prior to her being cast, I had mentioned her as one of the Housewives I hoped to see on “The Traitors”. Given that she serves as the voice of reason on RHONJ and has a background in law enforcement as a correctional officer, I believed she possessed the street smarts to identify the traitors. However, over the past three episodes, she seems to have become relatively insignificant during voting. Honestly, it’s time for her to let go of the Sandoval issue!
It appears Dolores will likely survive until the end of Season 3 of “The Traitors,” with a strong possibility she might even emerge victorious if she and her fellow Faithful can track down Danielle effectively. However, whether her closest ally decides to support her from the turret following the ultimatum remains uncertain. We’ll simply have to stay tuned and find out what happens when a new episode of “The Traitors” airs next Thursday as part of the TV schedule.
