The initial episodes of “Daredevil: Reborn” premiered this week in New York, and it’s been a triumph for Marvel Studios as the responses to the revamped series have been overwhelmingly positive. Critics are hailing “Reborn” as a comeback for Marvel Television, making it seem like the characters never went away from our screens. With its intense action sequences and captivating storytelling, the start of the season appears to be setting up an engaging series. Fortunately, fans can anticipate even more with Season 2 already approved for release in 2026, and one supporting cast member has confirmed their return.
In an exclusive chat with Entertainment Tonight, the actress who portrayed Karen Page across three seasons on Netflix’s Daredevil and will reappear in the upcoming revival “Daredevil: Born Again,” has confirmed her return for the second season. The actor expressed excitement over the new season’s script, commending its quality.
“I find the scripts simply fantastic! It’s an immense privilege to be involved in the narrative that Dario Scardapane penned. His work leaves me awestruck and exhilarated!
It’s clear that Disney+ and Marvel Television have a strong belief in “Daredevil: Born Again,” as they’ve initiated work on its second season before the initial episodes of the first season have even premiered on their streaming platform. After the termination of the Netflix series following “Daredevil” Season 3, there was much discontent among fans, who felt that Charlie Cox, Elden Henson, and Deborah Ann Woll have now become the definitive portrayals of their respective characters.
Karen Page Lives to Fight Another Day in ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Season 2
It’s comforting to know that Karen Page is coming back for Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, as she has a significant role in the comics, often being a victim of Daredevil’s enemies like Bullseye. Since Wilson Bethel is reprising his role as Ben Pointdexter/Bullseye, there was always a possibility that Karen might find herself in danger, much like in the comics. Yet, it appears that Karen will survive to create more compelling interactions with Cox’s Murdock and Henson’s Foggy Nelson. Sadly, it seems that Foggy may not be as fortunate…
Deborah Ann Woll may potentially play a larger part in additional Disney+ projects, including the upcoming Marvel Studios Special Presentation about The Punisher. Since Karen Page and Frank Castle have a significant friendship in the second season of their Netflix series, it would be a missed opportunity if this connection wasn’t explored further in stories centered around Jon Bernthal’s character. At present, it remains undisclosed whether the show “Daredevil: Born Again” will continue beyond its two seasons.
Apart from the second installment of “Born Again,” it’s thrilling to contemplate which Marvel actors, once part of Netflix, might resurface in some role on Disney+ or in a movie. The journey to reintegrate Charlie Cox’s Daredevil and his fellow supporting cast members into the MCU has been lengthy, but if early responses are an indication, it’s been a wait worth enduring.
