To mark its fifth anniversary, The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross is hosting the 5th Anniv Holy War Festival, offering fresh content, special events, and enticing rewards for all players. In the latest update from Netmarble, a brand-new PvE mode, a potent new hero, and a string of events have been introduced to maintain your excitement throughout the festivities.
During The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross’ fifth anniversary celebration, the main update is Liones Defensive War, a new Player versus Environment (PvE) mode. In this mode, you’ll defend the Castle Wall of Liones from attacking monsters. This requires strategic thinking, as battles are fought using a pre-set deck with twelve heroes, with only four in active combat at a time.
Additionally, during the 5th Anniversary Holy War Festival, a new Dark-attribute hero called Mael – Angel of Despair (Blackened Wings) will be introduced as a UR hero. You can try to get Mael from the Prelude to Doom special draw, where he is guaranteed at 900 mileage. Other UR heroes such as Escanor the Unyielding (Eternal Sun) and Chaos Arthur (Broken Balance) are also part of this event’s lineup.
Additionally, the gathering provides a bountiful schedule for check-ins, granting approximately 220 free chances via the Special Draw event and Book of Heroes III perks. Moreover, three Ultimate Rare (UR) heroes can be secured at distinct mileage benchmarks. If you aim to boost your squad, this is an ideal moment to do it.

At The Wish Box Event, you’ll find even better prizes like 200 Diamonds, 100 Special Tickets, upgrade resources, and unique hero costumes. By finishing tasks in the Book of Heroes, you’ll earn additional goodies such as UR Evolution Charms and Super Awakening Tokens. Additionally, there are special battles and mini-games like the Whack-a-Hawk event and Boss Parade.
After the special anniversary occasion, the latest update delves deeper into the Four Knights of the Apocalypse tale, focusing on Percival’s adventure to Liones. Completing this fresh chapter grants access to Artifact Cards. Additionally, two new Holy Relics for the Demon King and Jericho have been included, which can be acquired by engaging in Demonic Beast fights.
