The Dunder Mifflin team is receiving a miniature makeover! Before the upcoming spinoff, “The Office” has collaborated with Polly Pocket to create a mug-shaped playset based on its iconic moments, including mini figures of the fictional paper company’s key staff members.
You can purchase Polly Pocket’s The Office compact playset from Amazon, Target, or Mattel’s official website for $50. This set replicates six locations and provides accessories to recreate memorable scenes like Michael Scott’s office, the main floor, the break room, the conference room, and more. Included are miniature props such as a tiny teapot, a pumpkin for pranks, a Dundie Award trophy, Jell-O-encased Dwight’s stapler, Michael’s “world’s best boss” mug, and other iconic items from the show.
Absolutely, this collection encompasses miniature replicas of notable characters from Dunder Mifflin – namely, Michael Scott played by Steve Carrell, Dwight Schrute acted by Rainn Wilson, Jim Halpert portrayed by John Krasinski, Pam Beesley brought to life by Jenna Fischer, Kelly Kapoor played by Mindy Kaling, and Kevin Malone depicted by Brian Baumgartner. Confirming news, creators Greg Daniels and Michael Koman are planning a spinoff of the mockumentary series. In this new installment, Oscar Martinez, played by actor Nuñez, will return to his role as accountant. At the close of the original series, we saw Oscar pursuing a state Senate seat in Pennsylvania while simultaneously managing Dunder Mifflin’s finances. Titled tentatively as The Paper, the upcoming series will focus on the documentary crew who previously chronicled the paper company’s employees, now shifting their attention to the publisher and staff of a struggling Midwestern newspaper.
The upcoming series will feature writers Gbemisola Ikumelo, Alex Edelman, Mo Welch and Eric Rahill alongside stars such as Domhnall Gleeson from “Ex Machina”, Sabrina Impacciatore of “The White Lotus”, Chelsea Frei, Melvin Gregg, Ramona Young, and Tim Key. Guest appearances will be made by Duane Shepard Sr., Allan Havey, Nate Jackson, Nancy Lenehan, Molly Ephraim, and Tracy Letts. It was recently reported by the Pacific Palisades’ local paper, “Palisadian-Post”, that actors Frei, Gregg, and Young have been observing staff members to prepare for their roles.
