She’s known as a YouTube celebrity, blogger, and rapper, and she frequently recommends books to her followers. Indeed, Prajakta Koli initially honed her skills as an RJ at a well-known radio station, where she began her career through internship. Subsequently, she utilized YouTube to share amusing videos frequently. Over time, she transitioned into vlogging and her channel ‘Mostly Sane’ experienced rapid growth. Her fanbase expanded significantly, leading to the opportunity for her to host a YouTube Originals show titled Pretty Fit.
Following her captivating performances on social media and engaging fans, Koli showcased her acting prowess in a brief film called “Khayali Pulao.” This talent caught the attention of the Mismatched Netflix series team, who then cast her as Dimple Ahuja’s lead role. As episodes unfolded, viewers grew fond of her character, eventually associating Koli with Dimple rather than Prajakta for many people.
Following two triumphant seasons of the program, Bollywood director-producer Karan Johar noticed Prajakta Koli. Subsequently, she was chosen to star in Dharma Productions’ film JugJugg Jeeyo alongside actors like Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, and Maniesh Paul. With her first movie appearance, Prajakta Koli demonstrated that achieving stardom in Bollywood is no longer an unattainable goal.
In 2023, she starred in “Yeh Shaadi Nahi Ho Sakti” and appeared in the mystery film “Neeyat,” alongside Vidya Balan, Ram Kapoor, Rahul Bose, Shahana Goswami, among others. The actress also has a number of singles and music videos lined up. Moreover, she was honored with a Daytime Emmy Award for her work in the documentary “Creators for Change.” Having read numerous books, Koli then penned her debut romance novel titled “Too Good To Be True.
