Steve Carell is helping those impacted by the Los Angeles wildfires.
On Tuesday, a video was screened during six high school gatherings in Altadena, California, featuring Carell discussing his collaboration with a charitable organization which has agreed to pay for prom tickets for the communities hit hard by this year’s destructive wildfires.
Listen up, seniors! Here’s some exciting news from Steve Carell. He’s associated with an exceptional charity called Alice’s Kids, located in Virginia. They wanted me to share that they will be covering the cost of your prom tickets for you! If you’ve already bought your tickets, don’t worry, they’ll refund you. What a great offer! The message from the actor known for “The Office” echoed a scene in the show where Michael Scott (played by Carell) promised students he’d cover their college tuition through the Scott’s Tots program, but failed to follow through. Contrastingly, Carell has teamed up with Alice’s Kids, a charitable organization dedicated to boosting children’s self-confidence, and is following through on his commitment.

In early January, wildfires swept through Altadena and Pacific Palisades areas of Los Angeles, sadly claiming the lives of at least 29 individuals.
