In Monster Hunter Wilds, much like other games in the series, you’ll find a diverse assortment of tools, useful not only during battles but also for various resource gathering techniques. One such tool introduced in this game is a capture net, which comes in handy for catching tiny creatures that may be necessary for side quests or additional purposes. Here, we’ll walk you through the steps to effectively use your net out in the wilderness.
How to Use the Capture Net
1st, ensure your capture net is accessible in your inventory for easy usage when hunting small creatures in the wilderness. Afterward, with the net equipped, simply point your slinger towards your target.
As a fan, I’d like to share an exciting change! Instead of the slinger, you’ll spot a novel crosshair on your screen. With this new addition, known as the capture net, go ahead and fire as usual. Your character will now throw the net towards wherever you aim. Give it a try and let the fun begin!
Based on your controls, this action will typically initiate using either the right mouse button or the left trigger on your controller. Once initiated, simply press the button assigned for shooting to use the net.
As a gamer, I’ve learned a new trick – now I can snag those tiny, harmless critters during my adventures! Previously, only the fierce beasts were within my grasp, but these passive guys are up for grabs too! Let’s see what secrets they hold!
