Abhishek Bachchan spoke about his upcoming film, “Be Happy,” stating that he deliberately chose this project because it focuses on the father-daughter relationship, a theme he feels is underrepresented in Bollywood. In a recent interview, he explained that his personal life and his daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan, have greatly influenced his acting in this role. He further mentioned that drawing connections to his own experiences or emotions makes it simpler to perform authentically.
During a chat with PTI, Abhishek Bachchan noted a scarcity of movies focusing on the bond between fathers and daughters.
He pondered over the way a family manages life when there’s no mother present, sharing that his upcoming movie delves into the story of a father-in-law, son-in-law, and granddaughter as they deal with this predicament. He underscored the profound influence a mother’s absence can have on a family’s existence.
Bachchan mentioned his fascination with delving into a plot wherein a father takes on the role usually filled by a mother’s presence, as she is absent. He pointed out that these kinds of tales are seldom seen in films, giving them an alluring freshness and distinctiveness.
I fully understand that no one can ever take a mother’s place, for it is the unique bond between child and mother that cannot be replicated. Yet, as a dedicated parent, I strive tirelessly to meet my child’s needs and aspirations, sometimes even exceeding expectations in my efforts to provide them with the best possible upbringing.
In his own words, the performer behind Dhoom revealed that his genuine interactions with his 13-year-old child, Aaradhya Bachchan, substantially influenced how he brought the character Shiv to life.
As an actor, there’s always an effort to establish an emotional bond with a character, making each movie feel personal in some way. Remarkably, linking the role to real-life experiences can make this process smoother, enabling a stronger connection to the emotions expressed on-screen.
Abhishek Bachchan reconnects with young actor Inayat Verma again, as they both appeared together in the 2020 comedy-drama Ludo. The movie features Nora Fatehi, Nassar, Johnny Lever, and Harleen Sethi, and is scheduled to debut on Amazon Prime Video on March 14.
Under the leadership of Remo D’Souza Entertainment Private Limited, this venture receives support from Lizelle D’Souza, Remo’s spouse.
