Bought for 2.37 cr, Akshay Kumar makes 84 percent profit after selling his Borivali East apartment at THIS whopping price

Actor Akshay Kumar recently closed the sale of his Borivali East apartment for approximately 43.5 million Indian rupees, expanding his real estate investments in Mumbai’s high-end property sector. As per IGR records, the transaction was officially completed in March 2025, with a stamp duty of 26.1 lakh rupees paid for the transaction. The sale reportedly yielded a profit of about 84 percent.

In the realm of luxurious living, I’m proud to call an apartment within Sky City my home. Sky City is a premium residential project masterfully crafted by Oberoi Realty. It boasts a variety of options, including 3BHK, 3BHK+Studio, and Duplex units. According to the Integrated Government Records, I became its owner back in November 2017, having invested approximately Rs 2.37 crore. My flat, which spans a carpet area of 1,073 sq. ft. (99.71 sq. m), comes with the added convenience of two allocated parking spaces for my vehicles.

Back in 2025, Akshay didn’t make his first significant sale in Sky City with the transaction from January; instead, he had already sold another apartment within that same building for Rs 4.25 crore. He initially purchased this property way back in 2017.

Additionally, the Sky City project has piqued curiosity among popular Bollywood personalities. In the month of May 2024, Amitabh Bachchan and his son, Abhishek Bachchan, made investments in several properties situated within this development.

In his professional life, Akshay Kumar recently appeared in the movie “Sky Force,” where he played an Indian Air Force officer. Regarding focusing solely on patriotic films, Akshay shared with News18 that he understands these movies might not excel at the box office as viewers typically seek entertainment-driven content.

Yet, the Hera Pheri actor underscored his ongoing commitment to creating such films due to his strong sense of national identity and personal beliefs. Additionally, he pointed out that although these movies may not initially draw significant theater crowds, they tend to garner a following on streaming services following their premiere.

As we move forward, Akshay Kumar plans to return his attention to comedy, temporarily stepping away from patriotic movies. His forthcoming projects like Welcome To The Jungle, Hera Pheri 3, Jolly LLB 3, and Bhooth Bangla promise a mix of laughter and enjoyment for viewers. Keep an eye on TopMob for further details!
