Despite numerous setbacks and much debate, the new addition to the Assassin’s Creed series – titled Shadows – has finally arrived from Ubisoft. This latest installment offers players the unique opportunity to control not one but two characters: among them is a young ninja named Naoe.
For gamers eager to delve deeply into the intriguing world of ninjas crafted by Ubisoft, there remains much that is yet to be discovered. As you assume the roles of Naoe or Yasuke, you’ll have the opportunity to traverse cities like Kyoto and Osaka, as well as vast territories beyond their boundaries.
In the midst of all the puzzles and enigmas that the game presents, a particular question seems to be constantly on players’ lips: What is the age of Naoe? Note that the following contains minor spoilers.
How Old Is Naoe in AC Shadows?
In the world of Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Naoe kicks off her adventure as an agile 17-year-old ninja, a fact that has been officially verified by Ubisoft in one of their posts.
Over time, as the game progresses across various years, players will have the opportunity to witness Naoe’s evolution both as a shinobi and as an individual. The initial setting for Assassin’s Creed Shadows is in the year 1579, with the remainder of the story unfolding over several years, concluding in 1584.
By the close, Naoe had grown into a seasoned 22-year-old ninja, honing her skills over numerous years of relentless practice.
In the game AC Shadows, Naoe could be an original, fictional character. However, her background is intriguing to those with a fondness for Japanese history. As the daughter of the historical ninja warrior Fujibayashi Nagato, she adds depth and authenticity to her storyline.
Initially resisting the notion, I found myself compelled to guide Naoe through the art of shinobi, a necessary skill for self-defense amidst the chaotic times plaguing the Iga region.
