In Monster Hunter Wilds, a vast assortment of goods can be obtained by dismantling vanquished beasts. While some of these goods are employed in the crafting process, you must meet specific requirements to acquire them.
As a dedicated hunter, I’ve come to know that the Brute Bones are treasures collected from vanquished beasts, particularly abundant in the Low Rank Quests. However, as you ascend to the High Ranks, securing these bones becomes a challenge. Here’s a strategy for obtaining Brute Bones regardless of your progress in the main storyline:
1. Replay Lower Rank Missions: Go back to missions from earlier ranks and hunt monsters there. There’s a higher chance of gathering Brute Bones from these creatures in lower rank quests.
2. Hunt Monsters with High Drop Rates: Some monsters drop Brute Bones more frequently than others. Keep an eye out for these high-drop-rate beasts, as they will increase your chances of getting the bones you need.
3. Farm Multiplayer Quests: Team up with other hunters to tackle multiplayer quests in lower ranks. This not only increases your chances of gathering Brute Bones but also provides an opportunity to learn and improve your skills.
4. Utilize Decorations: Equip decorations that boost the drop rate for monster materials, such as the “Resource Booster” or “Monster Expedition” charms.
5. Be Patient and Persistent: Gathering Brute Bones may require some time and effort, but persistence will pay off! Keep hunting and eventually, you’ll have enough bones for your endeavors.
How To Get The Brute Bone
In simpler terms, the character named Brute Bone is created from the remains (carcass) of a defeated Conga. Smaller monsters known as Congalalas often roam with the Conga in the Scarlet Forest. However, if you’re still exploring the lower ranks and haven’t finished the main story yet, your only option to obtain this item is by carving out the remains of a Conga.

If you are a High-Rank Hunter, you’re encouraged to take up the Low-Rank side quest titled “Scuffle at Pink.” This side quest involves tracking down a Congalala, but you’ll notice a group of Congas in its vicinity instead. You can easily vanquish these smaller creatures without the need to hunt the Congalala specifically and harvest its remains for the Brute Bone.
To get the Colossal Bone, an item dropped by Conga in higher ranks, you’ll need to complete a lower-tier optional quest as the Brute Bone isn’t dropped there.

Once you’ve tracked down the Conga and secured the desired item, feel free to chat with Alma to abandon the ongoing mission. This way, you’ll avoid engaging in a battle with the Congalala.
How To Use The Brute Bone

Primarily, Brute Bone serves a key purpose in the process of creating specific charms, including the Speed Healing Talisman and the Glutton’s Talisman.
Additionally, you’ll require this specific item for creating the Doshaguma Greaves, which is a component of the Low-Rank armor set known as the Doshaguma Armor Set, and it is essential for completing this armor set in its entirety.
