Following numerous whispers and hints, it’s been confirmed that Emma Frost has joined the Marvel universe as a Vanguard character (tank class), causing great enthusiasm among players who eagerly awaited her inclusion in Season 2.

In the game, Emma’s distinctive style is noticeable, yet the unveiling of Marvel Rivals sparked a lot of attention due to the depiction of her physical form being more voluptuous than in many comic portrayals.

Previously, fans of Marvel Rivals were accustomed to female characters having slender builds. However, they were quite taken aback by the noticeably curvaceous appearance of Emma Frost in the game.

Despite some critics noting that Frost had not been portrayed as this large previously, some fans believe her new visual design suits the character perfectly, given she’s meant to be a tank; much like how Overwatch’s Junker Queen was designed to be a tall and muscular woman.

Other remarks about Emma’s figure compare her thighs to a “bowl filled with oats.” Some comments describing her impact are more subtle, like “I’m drooling like an amazed fool,” while a meme edit featuring Adam Levine shows his reaction to Emma as “Holy moly! Holy f*cking wow. Your body is unbelievable!

Among the majority of women in this game sporting slender builds, Emma Frost’s distinct body shape is warmly welcomed into the lineup. So far, only Squirrel Girl has stood out with her different physique; it seems Doreen Green (Squirrel Girl) may have lost her title as the ‘Queen of Curves’ in Marvel Rivals now that Emma has joined the team.

We Can’t Have Everything

Although many find Frost appealing, some critics argue that her design shares similarities with previous characters like Invisible Woman and Dagger, both being blonde females dressed in white and blue. This repetition, they suggest, becomes problematic as it now brings the total number of such characters in the game to three, the only distinguishable feature being Emma’s large stature.

Some propose altering Emma’s color palette within the game, but given all the recent unveilings, it might be past the deadline for such changes now.

For each new character launch, it’s anticipated that Emma will also receive a unique skin. However, the specific outfit for this special skin hasn’t been revealed yet. Known for her stylish flair within the mutant community, Emma has a wealth of different looks that developers could potentially select. In fact, they could easily stockpile an entire collection of skins based on Emma’s wardrobe alone.
