The unexpected passing of Manoj Kumar has left people across the country stunned. Many well-known Bollywood stars, such as Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor, Aamir Khan, and others, have publicly mourned his death. Meanwhile, Aruna Irani, a veteran actress, spoke exclusively to us about her cherished experiences working alongside the deceased actor.

Speaking about the late actor Manoj Kumar, Aruna Irani expressed, “He was an excellent actor, director, and producer. It was truly enjoyable collaborating with him, and he was simply wonderful.

Additionally, she remembered vividly their collaboration on the initial color movie, titled “Upkar,” which hit the screens in 1967.

Looking back at the past, the seasoned actress remarked, “His first movie was ‘Upkar’, where I too appeared; it was our first color film because before then only songs and dancers would be in color while the rest of the films were black and white. Working with such a director was truly a remarkable experience.

In her own words, Irani mentioned that she collaborated with Manoj Kumar on the majority of his films. She stated, “He made numerous films, and I believe he must have made ten films where I was involved in nine of them with him.

As a lifestyle expert, I express my heartfelt admiration for Kumar’s profound impact on the film world. I lament that his immense contributions are no longer with us, representing a significant loss to our industry. Alas, there is little we can do now except remember him fondly. Rest in peace, dear soul. He was truly a remarkable individual.

As reported by ANI, Manoj Kumar sadly passed away at the age of 87 in Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, at around 4:03 am on February 21, 2025. Based on medical records, it appears his death was due to a severe heart attack. Additionally, it has been disclosed that he had been admitted to the hospital earlier but his health deteriorated over time.

The reports indicated that Kumar had been dealing with advanced liver cirrhosis over the last several months, a condition that contributed significantly to his recent decline in health.
