Lil Yachty x Veeze Reconnect on “Can’t Be Crete Boy”

Lil Yachty and Veeze have joined forces for a sequel to their 2020 hit “Sorry Not Sorry”, marking their first studio collaboration. Once more, they’ve demonstrated their compatibility as a team with the release of “Can’t Be Crete Boy“, another engaging collaboration that showcases their combined talent.

The approximately four-minute song consists of two parts, divided right in the middle by a rhythm change. This transition takes it from a mellow groove driven by a soulful sample to a faster, more energetic tempo.

Veeze raps, “I’m dancing wildly at the club, money that could cost you your life/ I wear Converse Air Force 1 shoes, they’re priceless/ My friend has huge diamonds in his ears, looks like he robbed a bank for them.” He then passes the mic to Yachty.

Then, Boat continues, “My mom spent three thousand dollars on a handbag, can’t even fit her phone in it/ I paid $250 for a gold Patek watch, but it doesn’t even have any gems on it.

This new release, similar to its previous version, features a music video directed by Lyrical Lemonade, overseen by AMD Visuals and Little Miles. You can watch it in the gallery provided and listen to “Can’t Be Crete Boy” on Spotify and Apple Music immediately.
