Ed Sheeran and Weezer Join Coachella 2025 Lineup

The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival has a few new additions to its 2025 lineup.

This year, Ed Sheeran and the rock group Weezer, featuring Rivers Cuomo, Patrick Wilson, Brian Bell, and Scott Shriner, have been added to the event lineup. Weezer will play the Mojave Stage during Weekend One on Saturday at 3:10 p.m., while Ed Sheeran, known for his hit “Shape of You,” will perform on the same stage during Weekend Two on Saturday at 3:00 p.m.

Following the withdrawal of FKA Twigs from her planned live performances due to persistent visa problems, both Sheeran and Weezer were subsequently added to the lineup. On Instagram, she expressed her deep regret at having to cancel her Coachella set as well as her Axe Ceremonia performance in Mexico City. She also stated that it was a source of sadness for her because she was eager to share a creation that she had put her heart and soul into, and felt it represented some of her strongest work yet.

Previously, Anitta announced through a post on X (previously known as Twitter), that she wouldn’t be able to perform at Coachella because of some unforeseen personal matters. In her message, she expressed her gratitude towards the festival for the invitation, their understanding, and continued backing.
