Though it’s confirmed that John Lithgow will portray Dumbledore, there are whispers of other actors being considered for roles. Amidst the online buzz, one actor has addressed speculation about him playing Hagrid – none other than Nick Frost.

The character of Hogwarts gamekeeper, Rubeus Hagrid, was originally portrayed by the late Robbie Coltrane.
