This year, Apple TV+, which debuted in 2019 and gained popularity following the success of “Ted Lasso,” stands ready for a highly competitive Emmy Awards season, boasting an impressive lineup of shows such as the dramas “Severance,” “Slow Horses,” “Your Friends & Neighbors,” “Bad Sisters,” the comedies “The Studio,” “Shrinking,” “Government Cheese” and “Bad Monkey,” and the limited series “Disclaimer,” “Presumed Innocent,” and “Dope Thief.
To achieve this goal, The Hollywood Reporter has discovered, the streaming platform plans to establish an FYC House, more formally known as the “Think Apple TV+” Emmy FYC House, within the legendary Hollywood Athletic Club. From April 24 to May 21, Emmy voters will be extended invitations to a compelling series of screenings, discussions, and displays showcasing the talent of figures like Ben Stiller, Seth Rogen, Jason Segel, David Oyelowo, Vince Vaughn, Brian Tyree Henry, Kathryn Hahn, and Bill Lawrence, among others.
At this venue, visitors can step right into their beloved series with interactive exhibits. They’ll find detailed costume displays from shows like “Severance” and “Your Friends & Neighbors”, perfect photo spots linked to “Shrinking” and “The Studio”, and a close-up view of the stylish yet enigmatic Lumon severed floor from “Severance”.
Award-winning cartoonist and writer Liza Donnelly from the renowned New Yorker magazine will be present, creating live sketches of beloved characters and stars from Apple TV+, all drawn using an iPad and Apple Pencil Pro.
In collaboration with THR, there’s also a planned #ShotoniPhone16Pro Photo Studio where videos and portraits will be taken using an iPhone 16 Pro. This studio will capture Apple’s various filmmakers and celebrities during their visits to the FYC House throughout its open month.

A Carpool Karaoke Christmas
In this global journey during the holiday season, James Corden hands over the steering wheel to Zane Lowe. A little-known but significant civil rights movement is chronicled in “Deaf President Now!”, which details the eight days of historic demonstrations that took place at Gallaudet University in 1988. The university’s board of trustees had appointed a hearing president despite several highly qualified Deaf candidates, leading to protests, boycotts, and rallies by students. In the end, their persistence paid off as the hearing president resigned, and Dr. I. King Jordan, a popular dean, became the university’s first Deaf president. This event was a turning point in civil rights history, influencing changes far beyond Gallaudet’s campus and ultimately leading to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). “Deaf President Now!” includes exclusive interviews with the five key figures of the movement, including the Gallaudet Four – Jerry Covell, Bridgetta Bourne-Firl, Tim Rarus, and Greg Hlibok, as well as I.
