Deepika Padukone is fully immersed in her motherhood right now, taking a break from acting but staying active on social media. She frequently posts updates, keeping conversations going with her followers. Lately, she shared a video expressing her affection for Mumbai and Bengaluru, pointing out how these cities have significantly impacted her life.

On the 9th of April, Wednesday, Deepika Padukone posted a video on her Instagram account showing her having her hair done. She accompanied the video with a question: “Bengaluru or Mumbai – which city do you prefer?

A brief video starts off showing someone speaking to the actress who played Bajirao Mastani from off-camera, asking if she yearns for Corner House, a beloved dessert joint from her hometown. In her reply, the actress acknowledged her longing for it, yet expressed contentment that there isn’t one in Mumbai. She humorously explained this by saying it would take “a higher level of self-control” to resist indulging in its treats.

She ultimately narrows down her decision between Mumbai and Bangalore. Sharing her affection for both cities, she expressed, “Each time I return to Bangalore, it feels like coming home, since a significant portion of my life has been spent here. This is where I grew up, where I made friends, went to school, college, so all the memories and experiences from those formative years are rooted here.

She prefers to return to Bombay since it’s where her professional journey started and now feels like home. The vibe in Mumbai is distinctly different, making a choice between the two challenging. Yet, she acknowledges that both cities have significantly shaped the 39 years of her life.
