In the realm of Monster Hunter Wilds, the ability to tailor your character’s appearance stands out, offering a multitude of possibilities for creating a distinctively unique look.
Customizing the appearance of your hunter in Monster Hunter Wilds is made easy with the layered armor feature, allowing you to blend various armor designs and fashion your character as desired, all while maintaining an optimal build. Additionally, this game offers another feature known as pendants, which can be added to further enhance your hunter’s aesthetic appeal.
How to Get and Equip Pendants
In-game accessories known as pendants can be attached to your weapons or other items. Upon starting the game, all players gain access to several variations of the Hope Pendant. As you advance through the narrative, additional versions of this pendant will become accessible, in addition to the Dragontorch Wings pendant and the Arkveld: Mark of Resolve pendant.
Multiple charms can be acquired via downloadable content that requires payment. The Avian Wind Chime charm is available for purchase separately, or it comes with the deluxe version of the game. Similarly, the Fairy Light and Dancing Cat charms are also purchasable as separate DLC or in sets if you opt for the paid Pendant Sets.
As a gamer, I’ve discovered that some unique pendants can be mine through side missions and challenges. For instance, the Azuz: Mark of Gratitude pendant is up for grabs upon completing the Succulent Scraps side mission, and the Kut-Ku Plushie pendant becomes yours after wrapping up the High Quality Materials side mission. Moreover, embarking on the Doshaguma of the Hollow challenge quest will grant me the Doshaguma: Mark of Contest pendant for merely participating, and if I manage to rank among the top 10,000 players, I’ll also receive the Doshaguma: Mark of Mastery pendant. Keep an eye out for more upcoming challenge quests, as they will undoubtedly reward us with new, exciting pendants!
In the Grand Hub, a fresh game mode called Barrel Bowling has been introduced. This game comes with two special rewards:
1. The Barrel Bowling Strap – After your initial play of this game mode, you can collect it from the Barrel Bowling counter.
2. The Barrel Bowling Trophy – Earn this prize by achieving an A rank in the game mode.
Lastly, the Stuffed Feylene Teddy reward is accessible to all players who took part in the open beta testing.
As a gamer, whenever I’ve managed to earn one of these enchanting pendants, I can then customize my arsenal by adding them in the “Change Armor Appearance” section when I’m inside any camp tent. Down at the bottom of my gear list, you’ll find settings for each weapon equipped. To adorn my Seikret with a pendant, I simply navigate to the “Customize Seikret” setting within the same tab, which allows me to utilize the same pendants as those available for my weapons and enhance my Seikret with them.
