The renowned Star Wars actor entered the Marvel universe this year, stepping into the shoes of Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, following the demise of William Hurt. Now in the Oval Office as President of the United States, Ross finds himself deeply engrossed in the superhero realm after metamorphosing into the Red Hulk. Naturally, Ford had to portray these scenes on set. Consequently, the internet is flooded with amusing memes based on this very scenario!

I had the chance to glance at the hilarious blooper reel from “Captain America: Brave New World” just below, where stars like Anthony Mackie, Danny Ramirez, and others can be seen in some rather awkward situations as they strive to create the magic of the Marvel Cinematic Universe on the silver screen. However, it’s acting legend Harrison Ford who truly steals the show, appearing to have a blast filming the Marvel movie. He danced, transformed into the Hulk, and even paid homage to “Star Wars” with a humorous line, remarking, “You can write this stuff, but you can’t say it!” – a phrase he once used with George Lucas regarding his dialogue.

From ET’s perspective, the video captures everyone in high spirits, giving a sneak peek into the effort (and enjoyment) involved in uniting actors and visual effects to weave the Marvel tales. Regrettably, for Captain America: Brave New World, this magic was not evident in either critical appraisals or ticket sales.

Will We See More of Harrison Ford in the MCU?

Originally released in February, the movie titled “Captain America: Brave New World” was helmed by Julius Onah, with screenplay contributions from Rob Edwards, as well as the writing duos of Malcolm Spellman & Dalan Musson and Onah & Peter Glanz. The film features Anthony Mackie in the role of Sam Wilson/Captain America, alongside Danny Ramirez, Shira Haas, Carl Lumbly, Xosha Roquemore, Giancarlo Esposito, Liv Tyler, Tim Blake Nelson, and Harrison Ford. In this sequel, Sam grapples with upholding the legacy of Steve Rogers while uncovering a plot involving U.S. President Thaddeus Ross that he must expose.

The release of “Captain America: Brave New World” in the MCU sparked a disagreement between critics and viewers. Critics gave it a score of only 48%, making it one of the lowest-rated Marvel films, barely surpassing “Eternals” and “Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania.” However, audiences on Rotten Tomatoes rated it higher at 79%. Both parties commended Anthony Mackie in his lead role and the introduction of Ford to the MCU. Yet, many felt that the film was too predictable, falling short compared to past installments such as “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” and “Captain America: Civil War.

It came as quite a shock when Harrison Ford joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but he’s eager for another round of Hulk-bashing. Earlier this year, Ford expressed hope that there might be a tale where his character can evolve beyond just being the Red Hulk. He thinks there’s potential to transition between Hulk and human forms, though that’s not entirely up to him. Regardless, he was thrilled to play in this exciting sandbox. Working with such an imaginative team and getting a taste of this unique world made it all the more appealing. So, he’s excited about possibly being part of future adventures in this universe.
