Bella Thorne Accuses Former Co-Star Mickey Rourke of Injuring Her Genitals on Set: “I Had Bruises on My Pelvic Bone”

Bella Thorne is recalling “one of the all time worst experiences” of her life as an actress.

In reaction to Mickey Rourke‘s recent homophobic remarks towards JoJo Siwa, Thorne publicly shared her distressing encounter with him while working together on a movie set, without specifying the title of the film, via her Instagram Story and her X account (previously known as Twitter) last Friday.

This man, quite disturbing, was the subject of a post by the actress, accompanied by a picture of Rourke. She revealed that she had to collaborate with him in a scene where she was kneeling, her hands bound behind her, and he allegedly misused a metal grinder intended for her knee cap on her genital area through her jeans, repeatedly striking them. This resulted in visible bruises on her pelvic bone.

In a subsequent post, she elaborated on her ordeal, stating, “I was subjected to numerous distasteful incidents during that film, one of which involved him intentionally spraying dirt on me to delay a scene. It seemed he found amusement in humiliating me in front of the entire team. I was often left alone in his trailer as he refused to communicate with the director or producers, so it was up to me to persuade him to fulfill his duties. This meant pleading with him, all by myself, in his private space.

Thorne clarified that the movie’s creation heavily relied on the actor. Despite her initial reluctance, she chose to prioritize what was beneficial for the film.

Although Thorne didn’t mention the specific nature of the project, they collaborated on the horror movie titled “Girl,” which hit the screens in 2020.

The Hollywood Reporter has reached out to Rourke and Thorne’s reps for comment.
