War 2: Hrithik Roshan calls working on Ayan Mukerji’s directorial ‘absolute delight’; says Jr NTR has taught him ‘so many amazing things’

This sequel to the 2019 film, directed by Ayan Mukerji, has everyone on edge with anticipation. Fans can’t wait for any new info about the movie, and Roshan fueled the excitement even more recently by discussing his work experience on the film, describing it as one of the “easiest films” to be part of.

At the Rangotsav event in New Jersey, United States, on April 10th, Hrithik Roshan shared time with his fans and discussed his upcoming movies, including War 2. A viral video shows Roshan expressing how working on the film brought him great joy.

He expressed that working on War 2 has been an absolute joy. In fact, it’s been the most effortless film he’s ever made due to everything being meticulously perfected and planned out, which is a testament to its producer Aditya Chopra and director Ayan Mukerji— they are bound to astound you all.

Roshan praises Mukerji for creating a “remarkable” or “extraordinary” effect with the movie. Additionally, he mentioned that Jr NTR has been cast as the villain in War 2.

Working alongside Jr NTR was an enlightening experience, teaching me numerous wonderful things. I can’t express enough my gratitude for this opportunity. Moreover, he assured us that the next chapter of War will surpass the greatness of its predecessor.

To wrap things up, he expressed his wish that the audience would enjoy the movie just as much as they already do, and openly declared his great sense of pride in the film’s creation.

Under the guidance of director Ayan Mukerji, “War 2” marks the sixth addition to the espionage world conceived by Aditya Chopra’s Yash Raj Films. In this installment, Kiara Advani takes on the female lead role, and it is scheduled for release in August 2025, specifically on the 14th of that month.
