Torchlight: A few weeks back, we got a sneak peek at the next chapter of Torchlight: Infinite – the sequel is finally revealing itself! The upcoming season, titled Sandlord, officially drops on April 17th, and it promises some significant changes. We’re talking about floating cities, economic governance, and even real-world rewards! So buckle up for an onslaught of fresh content in the ARPG world with season eight!
For this season of Torchlight: Infinite, it’s not just about slaying monsters as usual. Instead, you’re tasked with constructing an airborne empire – a floating citadel in the skies! The innovative Sandlord system introduces the Cloud Oasis, where you can exchange resources, delegate tasks to workers, and oversee production lines to develop your very own sky-high fortress.
In the upcoming season, Thea makes her return with an exciting change. Her novel characteristic, Blasphemer, swaps her divine abilities for a detrimental effect called Desecration. Initially feeble, it rapidly becomes formidable, amplifying Erosion damage proportionate to her remaining blessing power. Players who enjoy prolonged damage mechanics and complex synergies will find this setup particularly appealing, as it can be enhanced with area-of-effect blasts or health-scaling impacts.
The focus on Endgame content is ramping up. Deep Space has undergone significant changes, now featuring five fresh stages, expansive maps, and more formidable adversaries. Additionally, a new system called Probes offers an adjustable balance between risk and reward. Each Probe escalates the difficulty level, but could potentially yield superior rewards, including Compass chests via the Compass Probe.

The upgrade features a Unification Process for belt creation, enabling Hero Qualities, Skill points, and distinctive enhancements to be merged into one item space, expanding crafting possibilities for more complex character builds. Additionally, you’ll find a new antagonist, Night Slayer – The Withered Feather, now available in Plane Watcher and the 20th level of Ultimate Duel.
This version attempts to simplify the original text while retaining its meaning and maintaining a conversational tone.
Connecting everything is the Sands of Fortune Anniversary Celebration taking place from April 17th to May 1st. Finish tasks, collect Gold Rush Attempts, and try your luck at winning prizes from a $250,000 prize pool.
