Daredevil: Born Again Finale – Everything You Missed!

Warning: If you haven’t seen the Season 1 finale of ‘Daredevil: Born Again‘ on Disney+, some details might be spoilers for you.

Be cautious if you haven’t yet watched the final episode of ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ on Disney+, as it may contain spoilers.

I’m still vividly reminded of the painful memory when Netflix announced they were ending Daredevil after Season 3, leaving me concerned that we might not see Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock and Vincent D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk team up on screen again. But luckily for us fans, neither the vigilante nor the Kingpin could stay defeated for long. It’s amazing that we’re now here to (hopefully) rejoice in the finale of Daredevil: Born Again’s first season, which has been confirmed after reconfiguration.

Similar to many enthusiasts, I’ve taken pleasure in the frequent episode releases each week. However, having to wait an entire week following the revelation that Matt became Pointdexter’s second target of the season has been challenging, especially given the absence of Jon Bernthal in the second-to-last episode. Therefore, let’s embark on this journey together as I live-blog Episode 9, “Straight to Hell,” eagerly anticipating more appearances by Frank Castle before The Punisher’s standalone special and any other Marvel Cinematic Universe TV shows that choose to utilize him wisely.

Keep in mind that during the active period of the article, new posts show up in a reversed timeline, but once it’s no longer active, they revert back to being displayed in regular (chronological) order.

Thanks For Joining Me, Daredevil Fans!

It seems we’re all set for an intense evening, with Daredevil’s punches and also some deep emotional moments. However, before the exciting events unfold, I’d like to share a few wishes aloud:

  • Foggy returns from the dead, or just returns not dead
  • Karen returns, but also not dead
  • The Punisher clones himself
  • Matt and Heather split up in a big, juicy, dramatic way
  • Fisk’s entire Task Force become target practice for Pointdexter’s lethal spitballs

It’s So Close I Can Taste It Even Without Super-Senses

Let’s raise a cheerful farewell to the initial eight episodes of Season 1, as we eagerly dive headfirst into the season finale!

Cheers to the first eight episodes of Season 1, it’s time to plunge into this finale with gusto!

Starting Off With A Flashback

It wasn’t something I foresaw, the initial scene of “Daredevil: Born Again” referencing Jay Ali’s character Ran Nadeem. However, I’m not going to complain about it.

It’s unclear if there’s any significance in Vanessa frequently touching Pointdexter’s hands as she persuaded him to sign the documents, but it certainly appeared effective – though, sadly, its outcome was Foggy and Matt being shot.

Worked like a ‘harm. There it is.
