KL Rahul and Suniel Shetty, both renowned figures in their respective fields (cricket and Bollywood), collaborated to buy a 7-acre portion of a larger 30-acre plot in Owale, Thane West, for approximately Rs 9.85 crore. This transaction was finalized and officially recorded in March 2025.
According to records from the Inspector General of Registration (IGR), Square Yards obtained, it’s been disclosed that the agreement encompasses a plot of around 7 acres, which is roughly equivalent to 28,327.95 square metres or about 33,879.58 square yards. This land is part of a larger 30-acre and 17-guntha parcel. The deal incurred a stamp duty of INR 68.96 lakh and registration fees totalling INR 30,000.
