To assist you better, I’ve compiled a comprehensive tier list for Black Beacon characters as well as a concise reroll guide that will equip you with all the necessary information about each character. Enjoy your gaming experience without any second thoughts!

Currently, the number of playable characters might be limited, but those available offer a satisfying gaming experience. Most of them provide a dependable Damage Per Second (DPS), and even the free characters prove to be robust options.

The best characters in Black Beacon

In the Black Beacon tier list in front of you, I divided the characters into 4 tiers, with the S tier being the best and the C tier being the lowest. I strongly advise you to play with the characters in the S tier since they aren’t hard to get (except for Florence, to an extent), and they are extremely capable in the current state of the game.

Consider promoting certain characters from the A tier, as they are just short of being the best. Given the current limited roster, every character is eligible for an upgrade and playtime.

Strive for those ranked in the top categories, as they are currently regarded as “the top-notch” options. Keep in mind, however, that the meta is always evolving, so it would be beneficial to revisit this page following a new update, as rankings might shift. 1 S tier

Florence
Li Chi

Currently, Florence is among the most excellent characters, placing her at the peak of the Black Beacon rankings. Her capabilities include delivering impressive burst damage, and with a relatively straightforward skill sequence, she can execute it effectively, despite having some cooldown periods. During these intervals, you might opt to switch to another character.

Li Chi’s toolkit might be tricky to pick up initially, but when you get the hang of it, he becomes a formidable Damage Per Second (DPS) character who can handle any foe with ease. His skills shine particularly well against bosses, provided you monitor their Health Points (HP).

Viola is equipped with an area-of-effect ability that deals persistent damage, making her a valuable asset to any team. It’s wise to consider her as a strategic choice to swap in, as her entrance move slices through enemies.

Asti has the ability to both mend her team and inflict harm. She’s versatile enough to be an asset on any team facing adversaries dishing out excessive damage. She’s an excellent choice for customization and strategic deployment when required.

3 B tier

Nanna
Azi
Ming

Azi serves as a debuffer or support, lowering the opposition’s damage resistance. She’s particularly useful against stronger foes, making her an effective substitute for temporarily applying the debuff before switching back to your primary damage dealer.

Nanna is a five-star character with the ability to inflict significant area-of-effect (AOE) damage, but her effectiveness depends greatly on proper timing and accuracy. Executing her combo isn’t straightforward, but once you get the hang of it, Nanna can make for a reliable Damage Per Second (DPS) character.

Ming is an effective damage-dealing character who can also function as a backup damager. By connecting enemies, she enables them to take shared damage. To move up to a higher rank, she requires considerable upgrading; however, overall, she performs adequately.

4 C tier

Enki
Logos
Xin
Ereshan

As a seasoned gamer, I’ve come to know Ereshan – she’s a formidable force when it comes to dealing damage. However, she demands quite a bit of investment to truly unleash her full potential. If you put in the time and resources to max her out, she can prove to be an incredibly reliable top-tier DPS.

Enki is a no-nonsense type of character, primarily known for weakening opponents. His moveset is relatively basic, but it’s not too difficult to string together combos with him. However, other characters might offer more effective strategies.

Xin frequently uses her combination attacks to inflict massive damage. To ensure consistent damage output, she must accumulate her passive ability.

5 Black Beacon reroll guide

In Black Beacon, the method for rerolling might seem straightforward yet it’s quite laborious. Given that you’ll automatically obtain Zero, Shamash, Ninsar, and Asti from the story, your aim should be to secure one of the elite characters, which should suffice. Here’s a step-by-step guide:

1. Start by opening the game.
2. Navigate to the summoning screen.
3. Initiate the reroll process by repeatedly summoning until you find the character you desire.
4. Remember to save your progress after each summon to avoid losing any characters you’ve already obtained.
5. Repeat the process until you’re satisfied with your character lineup.
6. Once you’re happy, continue playing and enjoying the game!

Log in as a Guest.
Play through the tutorial until you get to the summon (Retrieval).
Claim the latest rewards from the Mailbox (also redeem the codes).
Pull from the gachas. If you have any of the top-tier characters, bind your account – otherwise, continue to the next step.
Go to Menu -> Settings -> Account.
Select Log Out and then go to your phone’s settings and Clear Data for the game.
Restart Black Beacon and start over from the first step.

Due to its time-consuming nature, I generally advise against re-rolling unless you’re intent on fine-tuning your account for optimal performance. Most characters in the game are decent to use, even the 4* ones, so if you’re not keen on investing numerous hours into re-rolling, you might as well skip it.
