Jaideep Ahlawat left everyone in awe with his dancing skills showcased in the “Jaadu” song from his upcoming film, Jewel Thief, which also stars Saif Ali Khan, Nikita Dutta, and Kunal Kapoor. Interestingly, this is the first time that Jaideep Ahlawat is seen dancing on screen. When asked about his new talent, the Paatal Lok actor admitted that he had assured the filmmakers he could dance to this extent.
Approximately a week ago, the debut track “Jaadu” from Jewel Thief was unveiled, and since then, internet users have been expressing their excitement over Jaideep Ahlawat’s graceful dance moves. Previously, it was thought that the actor’s talent for acting would be the only aspect of him captivating hearts; however, his exceptional dancing skills have now left everyone awestruck as well.
In conversation with Mid-day, Jaideep shared that neither Siddharth Anand nor Mamta Anand were aware of his passion for dancing. Yet, when asked to perform, Ahlawat confidently replied, “I can handle this much dancing,” with a grin. The actor went on to say that he’s always had the ability to dance, but never before had a script like this come along.
Instead of simply dancing in the song alongside Saif Ali Khan and Nikita, he was also asked to participate. Seeing this as a chance, he agreed. This is how he put it: “Initially, they could have just filmed the song with only Saif and Nikita. But Kunal Kapoor and I were brought in too. I saw the opening and took it.
Besides this, it was disclosed that the actor will once more don his dancing shoes for an upcoming movie that has not been unveiled yet. He shared, “Before Jewel Thief, I worked on another film whose premiere got postponed.
Jaideep described his experience on Jewel Thief as an incredibly fantastic one, marking a departure from his previous more serious roles. He elaborated that he’s already tackled a wide range of projects, such as Commando, where his role consisted primarily of a single line.
As an ardent enthusiast, I’ve found that engaging in dialoguze-baazi becomes genuinely enjoyable when it flows naturally, without being contrived or forced. Being brought up on the captivating performances of legends like Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan, I find that embodying such characters feels instinctive rather than requiring any deliberate preparation.
2025 can’t come soon enough for me! I’m absolutely thrilled about the upcoming heist movie directed by none other than Robbie and Kookie Gulati. This masterpiece will be gracing our screens on Netflix, and I simply cannot wait to witness the magic they’ll weave on the big screen! Countdown begins now!
