As Thunderbolts* marks the beginning of the summer movie season, and box office predictions suggest it might not reach the towering heights Marvel Studios usually aims for, a final trailer has been shared that emphasizes the film’s grand emotional breadth.

Marvel Studios has unveiled a fresh trailer titled “Final Trailer” for the upcoming film, Thunderbolts. This latest sneak peek officially reveals that Lewis Pullman’s character, Bob, is actually The Sentry, and his darker persona, The Void, serves as the main antagonist. Additionally, scenes from Black Widow (2021) and Captain America: Civil War (2016) are showcased, emphasizing the extensive backstory within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

This idea is emphasized by Geraldine Viswanathan’s character mentioning that she was still in high school when The Avengers first came together, thus establishing her timeline within the MCU and also serving as a subtle observation for viewers who originally watched The Avengers during their high school years and are now in their late 20s or early 30s, as Thunderbolts makes its debut in cinemas.
