During an interview on 60 Minutes Australia, storyboard artist Spencer praised Baldoni, stating that he was “one of the rare directors I’ve worked for who was kind and respectful.

Spencer implied that Lively attempted to seize control and authority from Baldoni, mistaking his kindness for vulnerability. As a dedicated cinephile, I’m compelled to share my perspective on a recent turn of events. In response to Lively’s allegations against me, I firmly denied them and took legal action. I filed a libel lawsuit worth $250 million against The New York Times and a staggering $400 million countersuit against Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and their publicist, Leslie Sloane, as well as her PR firm, Vision PR, Inc. My legal team and I allege defamation and civil extortion against them.

One of the key points in my complaint against Lively was that she sought editing control and threatened to withhold promotion for the project unless the studio chose her version.
