App Army Assemble: The Valley of the Architects – “Does this elevator puzzler go all the way to the top?”

The Game “Valley of the Architects” offers a visually appealing challenge, combining intricate elevator mysteries designed to stimulate your mind and an immersive storyline. It’s quite challenging to balance these two aspects effectively, but we entrusted our App Army with the task of determining whether they believe this game successfully met its ambitious objective.

Upon examining the screenshots for Valley of the Architects, it gave me the feeling of a game similar to Monument Valley, but upon playing, this was quite misleading. Valley of the Architects is primarily an elevator puzzle game where the main character is moved from one point to another. Although there are numerous obstacles like stoppers and elevators moving at varying speeds, it shares some resemblance with a different elevator puzzle game I recently played – Going Up. However, in my viewpoint, Going Up offers a more concentrated gaming experience.

When it comes to puzzles, The Valley offers a good experience with stunning visuals and an intricate plot, which sets it apart from many others in its category. It challenges your brain and encourages a lot of experimentation. A notable feature is the flexibility to play in both landscape and portrait modes.

As a passionate gamer, I’ve dabbled in this game and must say the visual appeal of its levels left quite an impression on me. Admittedly, my anticipation was mixed, but it turned out to be an intriguing elevator puzzle experience! On my mobile device, the graphics are top-notch, and you can tell a lot of thought has gone into the game’s design.

Alas, logic puzzles and I have never been the best of friends – I found myself relying on trial and error to progress through the game. Regrettably, time constraints have prevented me from exploring its depths further, but I’m eager to pick it up again soon!

This game offers an engaging puzzle experience with multiple solutions and hurdles. The narrative is solid, but what truly captivates me is the authenticity of the building designs. I appreciate the feature that allows for resetting, correcting mistakes, and repeated attempts. As you advance, the complexity increases, making it a logic-based challenge that I found enjoyable. The controls functioned well, and I enjoyed the ability to adjust my viewpoint and switch between portrait and landscape modes. In summary, this is an excellent game, highly recommended.

As a puzzle enthusiast, I’ve come across an intriguing game that puts you in charge of helping Liz uncover the lost secret of the architect. The gameplay is simple to grasp, but don’t let that fool you – it’s designed to test your wits from the get-go! You’ll be navigating Liz through her adventure by strategically using elevators to move them to the optimal positions. A helpful tutorial will guide you through the basics.

At first, I found the gameplay challenging yet engaging, but after a while, I noticed that some of the challenges started to feel repetitive. Nonetheless, if you’re into puzzles, this is definitely worth a try!

As a curious gamer, I’ve found myself immersed in “The Valley of the Architects,” an intriguing puzzle adventure set in Africa. I’m on a quest to unearth the mysteries of the Lost Architect. The narrative unfolds as I navigate through a sequence of brain-teasing challenges, each one building upon the last. These challenges revolve around strategically positioning elevators so I can traverse the level and reach the exit.

Once you hit the ‘Go’ button, it’s out of my hands—I can’t interfere with Liz’s movement once she starts moving. If a mistake is made, I have to restart from scratch and give it another go. At first, the puzzles are straightforward, but as directional blockers and teleports come into play, the complexity increases significantly. It’s a captivating challenge that keeps me hooked!

This game’s visuals and audio perform their functions effectively, though they aren’t particularly exceptional. The tutorials were extremely useful and I quickly found myself absorbed in completing the levels. I would have appreciated a more expansive help system, but overall, I still had a great time solving puzzles with this game.

Initially, I began playing a game on my iPad in landscape orientation, finding it extremely enjoyable as it showcased the surrounding landscapes around buildings. If your device allows, you can boost the graphic settings for an even more stunning visual experience. However, when I transitioned to my iPhone, the landscape view made everything appear minuscule, so I switched to portrait mode instead. To my delight, the developers designed this version to focus on the building itself, making it look larger and more detailed. It’s very user-friendly since you can adjust the zoom with a simple finger swipe.

As a gamer, I must say this intriguing puzzle game is visually stunning, with an immersive narrative that follows my character’s quest to unravel the enigma of a legendary architect whose fame and secrets have long been shrouded in mystery. In this game, I navigate through towering structures filled with numerous elevators and floors, aiming to transport a person from one point to another seamlessly. To achieve this, I must synchronize the movement of these elevators and manipulate various on-screen elements like stoppers and other mechanisms to ensure that my character walks unhindered to the end without colliding with walls. It’s a captivating challenge that keeps me hooked!

This game primarily revolves around tracking the elevator’s movements, as counting its trips allows for synchronization with the actions of the player and other elevators. The tutorial is meticulously designed to guide you effectively, using straightforward tasks to clarify concepts.

After that, it gradually introduces various obstacles and unique features, suggesting there are several characters aiming for the same or different colored doors. This setup adds complexity to the game. Additionally, you can adjust the number of moves per elevator in the settings, which is quite useful. In summary, it’s an engaging game with numerous puzzles that kept me captivated.

In contrast to typical puzzle games, The Valley of the Architects at its easiest level requires substantial mental effort from me. Its graphics create a ray-tracing feel on your phone screen, and the precise timing of obstacles like stoppers, elevators, and gaps within each elevator wall is crucial for progression. To fully understand the functionality of items in a specific level and complete it, you can adjust speed controls. In summary, this game offers a formidable brain-teaser experience.
