Morgan Wallen and Post Malone Team Up for a Second Time on “I Ain’t Comin’ Back”

Preparing for a rustic summer, Post Malone and Morgan Wallen are unveiling their joint track titled “I Won’t Be Returning.” Earlier this week, the collaboration was announced, and now it’s officially out, marking the second time they’ve teamed up for a fresh tune.

Previously, Post Malone collaborated with Chris Stapleton on the hit track “I Had Some Help.” This song ruled the multi-genre Billboard Hot 100 for six consecutive weeks. The tune was featured in Posty’s F-1 Trillion album and received Grammy nominations for both best country song and best country duo/group performance. “I Ain’t Comin’ Back” will be added to Stapleton’s upcoming album, titled “I’m the Problem,” which is set to debut on May 16. To date, Stapleton has already released “Lies Lies Lies,” “Just in Case,” and “Love Somebody” as singles from the upcoming record.

Building on his distinctive country flair, Post Malone’s latest collaboration follows his performance at Coachella’s inaugural weekend. In an interview with Billboard, Posty reveals no plans of slowing down in the country music scene. He disclosed that he is currently working on a new project and has visited Nashville twice for it. With approximately 35 songs created so far, he jokes that it’s about choosing which ones are good and which ones aren’t. He also mentioned collaborating with artists like ERNEST, HARDY, and others, stating they simply enjoy each other’s company, share ideas, and create music. In his words, “We just hang out and have fun, making songs. I’m already looking forward to the new album.
