In the weeks following the announcement of their baby girl’s birth on March 24th, Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul have been captivating social media with their first family photo. They shared a picture of their happy family and revealed that they’ve named their little one ‘Evaarah,’ meaning ‘gift from God.’ Shortly after, Anushka Sharma, Alia Bhatt, and Kiara Advani, among others, expressed their well-wishes on the post.

18th April saw a heartwarming shared post by Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul, showcasing their precious family moment. In the image, Rahul lovingly holds their daughter as Athiya gazes fondly at her. The couple affectionately titled their post, “Our baby girl, our world. Evaarah/ इवारा ~ Gift from God.

Not long after the post was circulated, numerous Bollywood personalities, such as Anushka Sharma, Arjun Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Kiara Advani, among others, promptly expressed affection for it. Alia and Kiara responded with likes, whereas Anushka Sharma used a heart emoji, and Arjun Kapoor commented “Eeeeevvvvvuuuuuuu” accompanied by a heart emoji.

Beyond this, the new mother Sagarika Ghatge, who has just given birth to a baby boy with Zaheer Khan, also used several heart emojis in red. Pragya Kapoor and Vaani Kapoor did the same, while Krishna Shroff commented, “So lovely.

It is worth mentioning that today is a special day as it also marks KL Rahul’s birthday.  

Simultaneously, the comments area was filled with heartwarming responses from the couple’s fans. One fan expressed their affection by saying, “I love the name,” while another found the moment priceless and commented, “Omggg this picture.” Another fan couldn’t help but gush over it, saying, “Such a beautiful meaning of our cute lil evaarah.

The Delhi Capitals’ official Instagram account referred to something as “the best present,” and Badshah commented, saying “Daughter” followed by two heart and two protective eye emojis. At the same time, actress Mawra Hocane from Sanam Teri Kasam wrote, “What a lovely name! May she be granted all the good life has to offer, and even more, under God’s blessings.

In a private wedding in 2023, Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul exchanged vows at Suniel Shetty’s farmhouse in Khandala. The couple revealed their happy news of expecting their first child the previous year, and they welcomed their baby girl on March 24, 2025.
