Morgan Wallen and Post Malone Reunite on New Single ‘I Ain’t Comin’ Back’

As a gamer, I’m pumped about the new tune “I Ain’t Comin’ Back” from Morgan Wallen and Post Malone. It’s their second team-up after last year’s massive success with “I Had Some Help.” They’re aiming to strike it rich, or platinum, again with this one!

The sixth track on Morgan Wallen’s forthcoming album, titled “I’m the Problem, ” is his latest single, coming after “Lies Lies Lies,” “Love Somebody,” “Smile,” the title track, and “Just in Case.” Set to drop on May 16th, “I’m the Problem” may very well be one of the top-selling albums of 2025, based on Wallen’s past sales records.

2024 saw Wallen and Post’s “I Had Some Help” soaring to new heights, gracing the Hot 100 for six unforgettable weeks and earning double platinum status. This hit single played a significant role in solidifying Post as a versatile country artist. Remarkably, it was even nominated for the prestigious Best Country Song accolade at the Grammy Awards in February. As a devoted fan, I can’t help but feel proud to have witnessed such an incredible achievement!

Wallen’s latest tune has surfaced following some uproar over his unexpected exit during the credits of Saturday Night Live. He stirred more buzz when he posted a photo of an airplane on Instagram with the caption “get me to God’s country”, which quickly went viral. A few days later, Wallen capitalized on the controversy by offering merchandise bearing the phrase “get me to God’s country” on his official website.

Besides “Post”, Wallen’s latest album boasts collaborations with Eric Church, Hardy, and prominently, pop sensation Tate McRae, who lends her voice to the track titled “What I Want”.

For Post Malone, it’s him taking the main stage at Coachella again during Weekend Two this coming Sunday. This presents an opportunity for him to premiere his latest track on one of the largest platforms in live music, potentially with or without Wallen.
