According to Deadline, 47% of moviegoers stated that Jordan was their motivation for watching the film in theaters, while 40% credited Coogler as their reason. Furthermore, 45% of attendees mentioned that they were encouraged by friends and family to see the movie.

Approximately 45% of cinema-goers expressed enthusiasm for another sequel, while a significant 81% are likely to recommend watching “Sinners” to their loved ones at the movie theater.

This film is set in the Mississippi Delta during 1932 and follows Jordan’s portrayal of twin brothers who encounter a supernatural entity upon their return to their hometown, seeking a new beginning.
