Sarah Michelle Gellar and Elijah Wood will appear in the sequel of “Ready or Not,” titled “Ready or Not: Here I Come,” where they’ll rejoin the series lead, Samara Weaving, on set.
The movie that is currently being filmed in Toronto has completed its cast additions, which now includes Shawn Hatosy, Néstor Carbonell, and Kevin Durand (from “Abigail”), as well as renowned horror director David Cronenberg.
As a diehard fan, I’m thrilled to see Radio Silence’s dynamic duo, Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, returning for the action-packed sequel titled “Ready or Not: Here I Come“. And it’s even more exciting knowing that Guy Busick and R. Christopher Murphy, the brilliant minds behind the original script, are back on board as well!
As a movie enthusiast, I recently watched “Ready or Not” where Weaving’s character discovers her new family’s peculiar wedding night tradition—a chilling game that demands bloodshed to uphold an age-old pact with the devil. To my delight, this thriller was both critically and commercially successful, earning $28 million in the U.S alone on a budget of just $6 million! What a captivating ride it turned out to be!

The sequel is being produced by Tripp Vinson, James Vanderbilt, Bradley J. Fischer, and William Sherak. Chad Villella, Tara Farney, Greg Denny, Paul Neinstein, Busick, Murphy, and Weaving serve as executive producers. Richard Ruiz and Cornelia Burleigh are managing the project for Searchlight Pictures.
