Movie producers Karan Singh Tyagi and Karan Johar assembled a talented group of actors such as Akshay Kumar, Ananya Panday, and R. Madhavan for the film “Kesari Chapter 2: The Hidden Tale of Jallianwala Bagh.” This movie has been doing well at the box office since its premiere on April 18, 2025, in cinemas. The filmmaker added that although Gehraiyaan actress Dilreet hasn’t portrayed a role demanding such realism before, she delivered convincingly in this historical courtroom drama.

Karan Johar shared that she stood strong against every creative challenge she encountered, diligently shaping Dilreet to be uniquely hers, and her unwavering love for Dilreet stemmed from Ananya. In a separate part of the interview, director Karan Singh Tyagi highlighted that Gill serves as the ethical core of the film.
