It’s been approximately three months since Joey Graziadei triumphed on “Dancing with the Stars“, and as we approach the new season, anticipation is building! Admittedly, it may seem premature to be so enthusiastic, but trust me, it’s justified. The reason being, Robert Irwin has been confirmed as a contestant for the upcoming season set to air in the 2025 TV lineup. To add fuel to the fire, Bindi Irwin, his sister and a previous “DWTS” champion, has posted an emotional message to her brother that leaves me feeling rather nostalgic.

Dancing With the Stars is an excellent reality competition series that shows no matter what line of work you’re in, everyone’s got some pep in their step. Australian conservationist Robert Irwin will be carrying on that DWTS tradition this year and following in the footsteps of his sister, Bindi, who won Season 21. So, naturally, his big sister shared a heartfelt reaction to the news on Instagram, writing:

Wow, I can hardly believe it’s been a decade since I danced my way to victory on Dancing with the Stars! It seems like just yesterday when I was tearing up the dance floor alongside the amazing Derek Hough. From our unforgettable “Dirty Dancing” routine to my unique Cha Cha Argentine Tango Fusion, it feels like a dream that I was crowned champion at only 17 years old. Time really does fly when you’re having fun!
