Nintendo Switch 2: All Game-Key Card Games

As a dedicated gamer, here’s something I found super helpful: If you’re eager to keep tabs on every Nintendo Switch 2 Game-Key Card, this practical guide might just be the solution you’ve been seeking!

Nintendo traditionally doesn’t provide comprehensive explanations about features like Game-Key Cards, leading to much perplexity among fans. Basically, these are games that need a digital download to function. Despite being digital in nature, the cartridge serves as a verification tool for the console, ensuring you own the software and enabling offline play after the download process is completed.

Of course, there are games designed specifically for the “Nintendo Switch 2 Edition.” Unlike digital versions that need to be downloaded onto your console’s memory card, these are physical cartridges. Many popular Nintendo titles, along with select, optimized or smaller-sized games from third-party developers, can utilize this format.

To make it easier for you to distinguish between Game-Key Cards and Nintendo Switch 2 Edition titles, we’ve gathered all the Game-Key Cards in one place for you.

Of course, this collection is destined to expand further. We’ve deliberately left out some titles, such as Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, which are expected to debut on the forthcoming Nintendo Switch 2.

One reason for this is because there isn’t a definite release date yet, and more crucially, it hasn’t been confirmed whether it will be a Game-Key Card game or not. Although it’s highly likely given the game’s size, we can’t include it in our list until we receive official confirmation.

Essentially, that’s all I have for now. While you’re browsing here, we strongly advise you to explore all the essential details about Mario Kart World. Despite its high price tag, if Nintendo manages to fulfill their promise of an open-world Mario Kart, it could very well be a worthwhile investment.
