Amy Landecker Signs With Gersh (Exclusive)

Amy Landecker has agreed to be managed by Gersh, a prominent Hollywood talent agency, across all aspects of her career.

Landecker is expanding his creative horizons, lately writing, directing, and appearing in the movie titled “For Worse“. This light-hearted romantic film revolves around a recently divorced, now sober mother who embarks on a new journey by enrolling in an acting class and develops a relationship with a young, attractive actor. The premiere of this production took place at the 2025 SXSW Film Festival, showcased in the narrative spotlight sidebar.

The television series “For Worse” features Bradley Whitford, Nico Hiraga, Gaby Hoffmann, Ken Marino, Missi Pyle, Kiersey Clemons, Claudia Sulewski, Simon Helberg, and Liv Hewson. According to Angie Han from The Hollywood Reporter in her review for the SXSW festival, Landecker’s debut film is distinctive among recent older woman/younger man pairings due to its frank portrayal of postmenopausal body realities that aren’t often glamorized.

Landecker is primarily recognized for playing Sarah Pfefferman on the popular Amazon show, “Transparent.” She starred alongside Jeffrey Tambor, Kathryn Hahn, and Bradley Whitford in this series. Her acting in the show garnered her a Screen Actors Guild (SAG) nomination, and “Transparent” received the GLAAD Media Award for exceptional comedy series for three consecutive years.

Landecker has also been part of several notable productions, such as the Coen Brothers’ film “A Serious Man”, where she starred alongside Steve Carell in “Dan In Real Life”, the SXSW Grand Jury Prize winner “Shithouse”, DreamWorks’ animated feature “The Croods”, Hulu’s series “The Handmaid’s Tale”, and Showtime’s drama series “Your Honor”.

Besides Landecker, there are other entities that represent him, namely Ayala Cohen Management, Principal Entertainment LA, and the law firm Felker Toczek Suddleson McGinnis Ryan LLP.
