After WrestleMania 41, conversations within the wrestling community persist, as The Rock addresses speculations that he should have joined John Cena during his Las Vegas match. Meanwhile, the WWE is looking ahead to future plans, sparking whispers about the possibility of rapper Travis Scott engaging in an official match. To be honest, I’m not entirely convinced about this idea.
Following the megastar’s involvement in helping John Cena secure his historic 17th championship by defeating Cody Rhodes, rumors are swirling that Travis Scott could potentially step into a WWE ring. As per @Cory_Hays407’s claims, there seems to be a strategic plan for the rapper to engage in wrestling matches within the WWE. Here’s what we know so far, and my take on why this might not be an ideal move.
The Rumored Future Plan For Travis Scott Following WrestleMania 41
There’s talk that Travis Scott might collaborate with John Cena for a tag-team wrestling match, although the details aren’t finalized yet. This gossip lines up with The Rock’s statement on The Pat McAfee Show, revealing that Scott is learning pro wrestling from Booker T. It seems strange for Scott to continue training if he intends to disappear after WrestleMania 41, unless these rumors are unfounded and he might be as absent at future WWE events as Bayley was at WrestleMania.
Why I Think This Is A Bad Idea
It’s not unusual to see celebrities in the WWE, and occasionally, we find exceptional cases like Logan Paul who prove to be skilled wrestlers despite being famous and successful outside of the ring. However, while Logan Paul stands tall at 6’2″ and is as muscular as any WWE superstar, Travis Scott has a more average, slender build that might not immediately suggest he could handle the wrestling company effectively.

In a heartfelt message, Hornswoggle from WWE shares feelings after being invited by the company to come back for WrestleMania weekend.
Or,
Hornswoggle expresses emotions in a touching post following his invitation by WWE to join them during WrestleMania weekend.
From what I’ve observed during his two performances in WWE, it seems like Travis Scott might not be ready yet for a full-fledged wrestling match within the organization. His global stardom as a musician likely keeps him quite busy, and I question if he has enough time to master the nuances of wrestling. Considering even the basics require extensive learning, it seems challenging for him to prepare for a tag-team match given his schedule constraints.
It seems quite plausible that Travis Scott finds himself in an unfair situation. Given his global fame and passion for wrestling, one might expect him to leverage his celebrity to secure a match against John Cena, regardless of public opinion. However, the ongoing discourse connecting him with The Rock only intensifies the controversy, potentially affecting crowd response towards his performances. As a heel, boos wouldn’t be entirely unwelcome, but an unfriendly audience can be ruthless. Overall, this situation gives me cause for concern.

Experience Travis Scott’s performances at upcoming WWE events this year with Peacock TV, starting from just $7.99 per month or $79.99 annually. Upgrade to Peacock Premium for a slightly higher cost, which offers an ad-free viewing experience and the ability to download titles for offline access later. Check out the deal here!
Look forward to potential future appearances by Travis Scott on Monday Night Raw, streaming every Monday at 8:00 p.m. ET on Netflix. As of now, it seems that John Cena will first defend his title against Randy Orton. Unless Travis Scott is secretly practicing the RKO move, I don’t think he’ll be directly involved in this matchup.
